The Far West Ski Association Lifetime Legacy Award is granted to an individual actively continuing to serve the Far West Ski Association after 50 years in the organized snowsports industry, as a leader in the clubs, councils and the board that comprise the Far West Ski Association.
This award is not an annual award. Awardees are recognized as the level of their service (50 years or more) warrants it. The FWSA Board of Trustees determines awardees based on documented evidence of years of service, and current level of activity.
