The Far West Ski Association is honored to announce that Samantha DeBoer, Director of Communications for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame & Museum, will be the Keynote Speaker at the Far West Ski Association’s 92ndAnnual Convention in Palm Springs, June 12-15.
Samantha’s diverse background and passion for communications make her an integral part of the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame team. At the Hall of Fame, Samantha specializes in web page design, social media marketing, donor relations and public relations. She works diligently to enhance the Hall’s presence, engaging with both the community and supporters to promote the legacy of U.S. skiing and snowboarding. Ms. DeBoer will share communication strategies for multiple generations with a backdrop of an insider’s view into the Hall of Fame honored member program, and its importance to the legacy of snowsports.
Samantha has been the Director of Communications of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame & Museum for the past three years.Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, she is originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan. She brings a diverse set of skills to her role. Samantha earned a BA in Public and Nonprofit Administration from Grand Valley State University, with a minor in Religious Studies. Her senior project focused on indigenous medicine, showcasing her commitment to understanding diverse perspectives and practices.
